Gleneagles Hotel Wins at Inaugural Online Awards

The Gleneagles's174; Hotel in Perthshire received further endorsement as one of the UK'ss leading resorts, after celebrating two accolades at the inaugural Caterersearch.com Web Awards held in London last night. The world renowned 5 star hotel saw off strong national competition to scoop the best 'sHotel website - Independent's award, while Andrew Fairlie - the two Michelin starred restaurant at Gleneagles (http://www.gleneagles.com/restaurants/andrew-fairlieutm_source=prweb's38;utm_medium=pressrelease's38;utm_campaign=caterersearch_awards_pr) - received the top prize for 'sRestaurant website - Independent's award.

The awards were launched earlier this year to recognise the tremendous growth of the internet as a tool for business and to honour the best websites in hospitality. Websites are all judged on criteria including visual design, innovation, content, interactivity, ease of use, commercial success or potential and overall user experience.
