Moules's mighty mussels! Cheshire diners give it some mussel as Moules a Go Go shortlisted for Best Small Restaurant award!
Chester restaurant Moules a Go Go has announced that it has been shortlisted for Best Small Restaurant of the Year 2009 at the Chester Food and Drink Festival.
Just five restaurants reach the final stage of this hotly contested category with the shortlisted restaurants the ones who have received the most nominations by the dining public. Each
finalist will then be judged by a mystery diner or a panel of experts and the winning restaurant will be announced on the April 15th at the sumptuous finale Gala dinner.
Head Chef, Alan Rolfe, comments: The whole team is delighted to be shortlisted for this very prestigious award at the Chester Food and Drink Festival. The Chester dining scene is going
from strength to strength and we'sre very pleased that Moules a Go Go, with its menu focussing on delicious local ingredients such as the famed Anglesey mussels, can be a key part of
this.
He adds: We always hope to offer an enjoyable experience for our customers so would like to say a heart felt thank you to all those who voted for us and hope to see them at the Food
Festival!
Moules a Go Go will also be holding a stall at the Chester Food and Drink festival over the whole of Easter weekend. At this stall in the outside area, next to Menai Oysters visitors will
be able to sample some of the stunning Anglesey mussels and also enter a 'sGuess the number of Mussel shells's competition to win a prize of dinner for two.
