Sands Resorts In Myrtle Beach S.C. Opens Mangos On The Beach A New...

Sands Resorts, Myrtle Beach, S.C.'s premier destination for beach and golf vacations, has opened a new restaurant, lounge, and beach bar on the oceanfront at its Sand Dunes Resort Hotel. "Mango's On The Beach" is a sister facility to Sands' popular "Ocean Annie's" Beach Bar that has been entertaining beachgoers for over twenty-five years.

Mango's On The Beach is designed to appeal to people of all ages. Its menu ranges from casual beach fare to continental cuisine. Diners can enjoy fine cuisine cooked on an infrared grille. Grilled beef and seafood entrees, as well as specialty appetizers, pasta dishes, and delicious desserts are available. Live bands, playing everything from beach music to "Top 40," provide entertainment Wednesdays through Sundays.

From the indoor portion of Mango's On The Beach, guests will enjoy dramatic views of the Atlantic, as well as a taste of Myrtle Beach history. Mango's Lounge is home to an original bar from Myrtle Beach's first oceanfront resort, the Ocean Forest Hotel, which was opened in 1930. The wood-stained bar, which has been beautifully restored and showcases an original mural with historic pilots and World War I heroes, is the centerpiece of the lounge. To compliment the lively atmosphere, state-of-the-art plasma TVs have been added to air satellite sports channels.

"Like Ocean Annie's, Mango's On The Beach delivers live entertainment and lots of fun. "We expect it to be extremely popular for all age groups and appealing to vacationers as well as locals.
