Music equipment retailer, Guitar Center, highlights Roland's TD-9S and TD-9SX electronic drum sets from the V-Tour series that feature the Roland TD-9 drum sound module. Debuted earlier in the year at NAMM 2008, both drum sets are now in stock at Guitar Center along with more Roland V Drum favorites like V-Stage, V-Pro, and V-Club series and other electronic drum sets (http://www.guitarcenter.com/Complete-Sets-Drum-Sets.gc).
The Roland TD-9 Percussion Sound Module (http://www.guitarcenter.com/Roland-TD-9-Drum-Sound-Module-491253-i1398153.gc) incorporates an expanded
sound engine and quick-record capabilities that enable easy sound capture. TD-9 users get 50 drum kits, 522 drum instruments, and 50 play-along songs featuring real audio instead of MIDI
sequences. The USB port allows drummers to upload audio files in .wav format, backup their data, or transfer recordings to a computer for further editing. The TD-9 Drum Module is the
backbone of both the Roland TD-9S and Roland TD-9SX electronic drum sets from the V-Tour series. Both V drum sets feature Roland's patented mesh drumhead technology with dual triggering
on the head and rim. The heads were designed to improve the drum sets' response and acoustic realism.
The Roland TD-9S V-Tour Electronic Drum Set (http://www.guitarcenter.com/Roland-TD-9S-V-Tour-Electronic-Drum-Set-491358-i1395447.gc) is
equipped with a mesh snare drum pad with rim triggering, dual triggering for the three V cymbals, and rubber dual-trigger drum pads on the three toms and kick pad. All five drumheads
included in the Roland TD-9SX V-Tour Electronic Drum Set (http://www.guitarcenter.com/Roland-TD-9SX-V-Tour-Electronic-Drum-Set-104820980-i1395448.gc)
also feature Roland's mesh drumhead technology. The set includes three dual-trigger cymbal pads. More details are available at Guitar Center.
