With the increasingly overwhelming amount of information available today, especially on the Internet, it takes a well-honed ability like Barbara Oliver'ss to find and separate the useful
and reliable information from the useless or merely entertaining, added Ross.
Boomster.com launched in October, 2008, was birthed by baby boomers Dr. Gail Ross and Steve Campus after a discussion about the need for relevance and practical how to resources for baby
boomers pursuing new ventures, adventures and interests. Ross, a Harvard University graduate who has worked as a psychologist for 25 years, and Campus, a New York City businessman,
visualized the idea of Dreamsearcher's8482; early on in their planning of a boomer-specific network. It was their desire to facilitate proactive research of new careers, passions, hobbies
or skills among those individuals seeking to pursue something new.
