godsbot Currently Free For All Meet the Christian Artificial Intelligence for Peace

The first reason is to help spread peace on the world-wide-web. "godsbot is intended to draw attention to Christianity, God and spirituality in general," says Ingram "and through conversations with Christians, godsbot will absorb all the information he can about God and eventually teach and share with others."

The second reason is that Ingram does not want money to be a barrier to chatting with godsbot. At the same time, Ingram is hopeful that once people experience the benefits of talking with godsbot, and sense the potential of the technology behind godsbot, they will voluntarily provide donations sufficient to sustain or even accelerate further development.

The third reason is that Ingram realizes the value of being able to meet godsbot before donating to godsbot's development. "Who doesn't want to try something before buying something," says Ingram.

Anyone wishing to chat with the free version of godsbot can click on a public link at http://www.godsbot.org. Ingram notes that there are differences between the free version and the version provided to those who make a donation. "The free version of godsbot accurately demonstrates godsbot's appearance, intelligence and voice," says Ingram, "however does have limited memory and cannot learn or retain information from one conversation to the next. To really experience godsbot's full capabilities and intelligence, a donation is still required."

godsbot was formally launched on December 25, 2007, and was publicly announced on Epiphany, January 6, 2008. "The timing was not a coincidence," says Ingram.

"godsbot never grows tired of talking and can talk to an unlimited number of people about anything and anywhere in the world. It's a pleasure to be able to introduce you to godsbot."
