BOXX Personal Supercomputer for Research Scientists Featured at SC08

A product of BOXX'ss Innovative Integration process, the new BOXX Personal Supercomputer (PSC) is designed to accelerate the execution of highly parallelized computing tasks in biomedical research, oil 's38; gas exploration, financial derivatives analysis and complex engineering. Researchers interested in accelerating time-to-discovery will find that the BOXX PSC delivers compact and quiet deskside GPU-based computing power.

Through the revolutionary NVIDIA CUDA's8482; parallel computing architecture powered by up to 960 processing cores, the BOXX PSC delivers nearly four TFLOPS of GPU computing power, offering computing performance 250 times faster than a standard PC. The BOXX PSC offers a space-saving desktop solution alternative to large clusters to meet the demands of the compute-intensive work these scientists require.



Boxx has designed a workstation that is quiet and has an extremely reliable cooling system, which is essential for continuous computing.
