The major advantage of AutoKrypt compared with other encryption applications on the market is the built-in powerful automation features and task scheduler. Encryption methods include password based, secret key, OpenPGP password, OpenPGP public and private key.

Users can automatically encrypt or decrypt files and folders on a schedule. Dynamic variables are supported for most tasks. Most tasks also generate variables that can be used in other tasks.
