GTSI Selects Cryptek as Its Emanation Security Partner for FBI Program



Cryptek, Inc. (http://www.cryptek.com), a leading provider of secure networking solutions and the world's largest developer of emanation security products, today announced that it has been selected by GTSI Corp. (NASDAQ: GTSI) to provide a variety of highly secure computer systems and devices under the Federal Bureau of Investigation Technology Refresh Program (TRP)



GTSI was one of three companies to win an award under TRP and the only company to provide emanation security products. The $290M IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) award runs for five years. Under TRP, the FBI plans to modernize 20% of its IT hardware annually.



Under this agreement with GTSI, Cryptek will provide a wide range of emanation security products and devices to the FBI including PCs, monitors and peripherals. Cryptek emanation security products are designed to protect highly sensitive data by shielding electronic systems from unwanted, surreptitious monitoring of computer systems and other electronic devices. Cryptek has developed advanced techniques for protecting electronic devices by limiting the stray signals and electromagnetic waves they produce.
