Advanced Rework Solutions Becomes Subsidiary of Advanced Manufacturing Services Inc.



Advanced Rework Solutions (ARS) has restructured itself to accommodate future planned growth. A parent corporation, Advanced Manufacturing Services Inc. (AMS), has been created to facilitate strategic expansion. ARS is now a subsidiary of AMS.

ARS services include application design, consignment, full turnkey, program engineering, processing, and manufacturing. The company also offers program management and complete order fulfillment for projects that range from product design and assembly to final distribution.

Robbin Thompson, one of the AMS owners, states "Over the last year, we have focused on implementing a long-term strategy to diversify the company's customer base, expand its operations, and provide more value-added services in the critical engineering phase of our customer's product development. The company launched an initiative that included reducing the risks which accompany concentrations in only one or two industries. We have accomplished this objective and are now expanding our current customer base across many different industries to give us the balance we sought. We have also expanded our capacity and capabilities through new equipment and personnel training. Re-structuring ARS as a subsidiary reflects our success over the past year and provides an organizational platform for AMS's future growth into new strategic markets."
