Brampton Adult Soccer Releases the 2005 Mens Schedule

April 28, 2005 -- Brampton Adult Soccer has finally fulfilled the wishes of it's teams, players, managers, coaches and supporters as it announces it's 2005 Men's Outdoor Schedule.

The schedule can be viewed online - http://www.bramptonsoccer.com - or downloaded as a MS Word Document at - http://www.bramptonsoccer.com/downloads/2005out_y_sched.doc .

In what appears to be the most exciting season in the league's history, one can find a wide variety of teams in what has now become 5 varied divisions.

The two men's divisions promise to be competitive and one glance at the line up of quality teams is a clear indication of that. Richview United (2004 Outdoor League & Cup Champions) have returned, as have the Warriors (2004 Fall Indoor Champions) a squad comprised of several OSL BoaVista squad members. Also, continuing their efforts for a dynastic legacy, Armada will be fielding what is arguably it's strongest squad ever.

The stability and quality of the Brampton Adult Soccer league has become well known. While some teams continue to return season after season, what is more remarkable is it's rate of growth. The league as a whole is 40% bigger within the span of a single year. For the first time ever, the two men's divisions are equally balanced at 16 teams a piece. This has allowed the league to implement it's first ever, properly formatted, Cup Tournament - beginning August 28th, 2005.

Brampton is a soccer starved enclave and the BAS is playing a much needed role as it intends to provide even the most casual soccer fan with exciting matches. Great things can be expected from the 32 Men's teams and the 23 Women's teams that are spread out through 3 divisions of varying skill and speed. Don't forget the BAS: Fireball, a representative squad of carefully selected Division I women's players - playing in the Peel/Halton Recreational League.

Admission for this season's matches is free and all spectators are welcome; get there early as seating is limited.
