LA84 Foundation Unveils Spanish Language Coaching Manuals For Youth...

To meet the need of the Spanish-speaking soccer coaches working with under 18-players, the LA84 Foundation is making available on its website two free coaching manuals in Spanish.

Fuerzas Basicas was authored by Efrain Flores and Joe Supe. Flores has vast experience in developing training programs that have taken young Mexican players to the elite level in soccer. Among Flores' protgs are Rafael Mrquez, Carlos Vela and Patricio Araujo.

Fuerzas Basicas was made possible through a grant from the LA84 Foundation to the Southern California Youth Soccer Organization. Many coaches contributed to Manual de entrenamiento de ftbol, including Sigi Schmidt, former UCLA and LA Galaxy head coach and now the head coach with the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer. This manual originally was published in English.The manuals are available for free download on the LA84 Foundation website at www.LA84Foundation.org.
