Music for the Military
Our goal is to send our service men and women the 's8220;gift of music's8221;. If we have military troops abroad, djangos.com is committed to supporting them with what we can. During 2006, our goal is to send 100,000 cds and dvds to our military in Iraq, Afghanistan as well as other strategic locations throughout the world.
We know this program will provide our troops with some comfort and help them realize even more they have our support. 's8220;This program is a good source for all of us to rally behind for the men and women who put their life on the line for us every day of the year's8221;, said Donie Treadaway, Partner, Sound Merchant has been mailing thousands of CDs and DVDs to our military via their apo # throughout the world. It is very clear that our military serving abroad sorely needs the passion for something from home, like their favorite CDs and Movies.
Our Soldiers in Iraq will be ecstatic to receive these great gifts from caring Americans at home. This is clearly an opportunity for every American who says, 's8220;What can I do for the military serving in Iraq's8221; Collection points are being lined up across the USA. Djangos.com will distribute the music and movies through the USO and other channels of distribution so that the music gets into the hands of our soldiers directly.
Djangos.com will pay for refurbishing and shipping all pre-owned like new CDs and dvds to the military. Those who wish to donate new or used cds can also purchase one on www.djangos.com and designate it is for 's8220;Music for the Military's8221;. Details on web site. All cds and dvds purchased will be shipped free to a soldier in Iraq and Afghanistan by djangos.com through the uso and other Military distribution programs.
