#8211; Social Policy magazine, a New Orleans based progressive quarterly journal with 30+ years publishing history, releases special feature on Rebuilding New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The feature, 's8220;Do You Know What it Means to Rebuild New Orleans's8221; includes work from organizers, planners, academics, and activists, raising questions and possible solutions about what the rebuilding process will look like. Contributors include Mike Davis, author of Planet of the Slums; Michael Eric Dyson, author of Come Hell or High Water: Hurricane Katrina and the Color of Disaster, and feminist scholar Joni Seager, dean of Environmental Studies at Toronto's8217;s York University, among others.
