Rugman.com Says Thank You Connecticut by Donating 10 of Proceeds to...

The holidays are a time of celebration and enjoying our time together as a family. In the spirit of giving, Rugman.com will donate 10% of the proceeds to the Connecticut March of Dimes until December 30th, an organization helping to ensure babies everywhere are born healthy.

Rugman.com has been fortunate to have many customers of luxury, hand knot rugs in the Connecticut area and would like to "give back" to the community. An exclusive selection of Persian rugs will be displayed during the month of December with a portion of proceeds going to the Connecticut chapter of the March of Dimes.

"The numbers are outstanding" said Farida Mirkalami, Executive Vice President at Rugman.com. "It's like an ongoing, silent battle you don't realize until it happens to you or someone you know" says Farida. Farida is referring to the staggering statistic that one in eight babies in America will be born prematurely. The difficulties that can arise as a result are truly a testament to the strength and courage of those who have experienced it first-hand. The March of Dimes is not only providing community service and education to these families but has also set a goal to fight premature births and not stop until every baby can be born healthy.

Rugman.com feels proud to contribute to this March of Dimes effort and would like to see everyone's family healthy and happy this year as well as the years to come.
