His Holiness the Dalia Lama has donated shoes, which are currently on display with the Missing Peace Exhibition: Artists Consider the Dalai Llama.

His Holiness has and has chosen Baxter & Cook Art Advisors, LLC of San Francisco to make this prestigious public offering.

His Holiness shoes are exhibited in a case alongside a photograph by the renowned artist Sylvie Fleury. The shoes covered the miles marking the spiritual footsteps of His Holiness, as he traveled the world spreading his message of Peace. During the course of his journeys, the Dalai Lama took great comfort from the shoes as he had them resoled several times. As Ms Fleury's photograph of them depicts, they seem to radiate the energy field of his Holiness.

The collector who buys these shoes would be honored to know that a gold plaque with their name on it will continue with the shoes as they tour with The Missing Peace project on its many stops around the world.
