New Publication Finds Answers For British People Who Want To Move Abroad

A newly launched monthly publication will help British people fulfil their dreams of living abroad -- and answer their biggest questions about moving overseas.

The monthly subscription newsletter, called Living Abroad Report (www.livingabroadreport.com), provides nose-to-the ground information that will help British people move overseas quicker and with less stress.

It is being launched by Simon Payn, founding editor-in-chief of Expatica, the news and information provider for expats living in 5 European countries.

An online survey, conducted to coincide with the launch, found that 'how to find a job' is the number one question asked by British people who are thinking of moving abroad.

- Nearly one in three (30%) people when asked about their single biggest question about moving abroad said finding work was their concern.

- Next came cost of living, with 19% asking if they will be able to afford to move and live abroad and whether their salary will be high enough.

- This was followed by questions about visas and permits (12%) and general questions about 'where to start' in the process of moving abroad (9%).

- Questions were also asked about settling in to life abroad (7%), learning a foreign language (4%) and schools for children (3%).

Simon Payn, editor, said people are interested in moving abroad but wonder how they are going to pay for it all. "Living abroad is a wonderful opportunity, but people fear they won't be able to afford it," says Simon. The overseas job market is very active, but people find it difficult to know where to start when looking for work.

"It seems very daunting when you have the whole world to play with, but with a carefully thought-out plan backed by some careful research, it's very possible to work overseas - and have money left over for a better quality of life than you had in Britain.

"Living Abroad Report will help these people by providing useable, well-researched information that is difficult and time-consuming for many people to find. This publication is an essential companion for anyone starting a new life abroad."

Living Abroad Report is offering readers a two-month free trial of the publication. To sign up, they should visit www.livingabroadreport.com.
