Catavo Forms HCM Practice for Federal Sector

Catavo, a leading provider of Human Capital Management(HCM) and enterprise learning solutions, announced today the formation of new service practice targeting specifically the Federal sector.

"For years, Catavo has been going beyond traditional e-Learning to provide a full suite of human capital management services to a wide range of corporate clients," said Peter J. Altieri, CEO of Catavo. "We're proud to now be able to expand our offerings to the Federal Government as well"

Catavo has engaged the services of Marc Starzyk to transition the Catavo HCM model into the Federal arena. Marc has years of experience overseeing LMS strategy creation, technical implementations, and workforce planning for agencies such as the ATF, US Coast Guard, FAA, DOT, and NASA.

As Managing Director of e-Learning Strategy for Catavo, Marc feels he is in the unique position to help Federal agencies comply with the HCM, requirements set by Office of Personnel Management(OPM) stating: "Many Federal agencies already have some sort of e-Learning technology in place. Catavo can help these agencies evolve that technology to migrate from mere e-Learning into a true human capital management solution. Catavo can help Federal clients achieve the real productivity and efficiency gains they were always hoping for."

Catavo is also strengthening its Federal offerings through the expertise of Larry Mercier, Federal Sector Strategy Advisor for Catavo. Larry has server in the Federal Government for nearly 30 years, most recently working heavily with USALearning.gov,(golearn.gov) the official learning and development site for the US Federal Government. Larry feels that the impartial nature of Catavo's consulting engagements is one of its greatest strengths.

"We pride ourselves on being platform agnostic during our evaluations process," said Larry. We will examine the technology infrastructure our client's currently have in place and make recommendations that help our client's best close the gap between where they are, and where they want to go."

Altieri feels that the Catavo model to provide HCM services to the Federal sector will greatly enhance the capabilities of Federal agencies to make the most of their human resources: "By combining our years of human capital management expertise with the years of Federal sector expertise that we can now leverage, Catavo is in a position to deliver real and measurable employee performance enhancements to its Federal client base.
