MindSolve Technologies announced today that it has received a positive rating in the recently-released Gartner MarketScope for Employee Performance Management (EPM) Software, 2005.

Gartner states that a positive rating of a vendor, demonstrates strength in specific areas, but is largely opportunistic. Customers should continue incremental investments and potential clients should put this vendor on a shortlist of tactical alternatives.

The report points out the benefits to organizations of current best-practice employee performance management: Studies have shown that business performance improves when there are strong EPM practices, and EPM software is an important enabler of those practices. Gartner analyst and author James Holincheck also calls attention in the MarketScope report to new developments in the field, such as the trend toward integration of EPM and corporate performance management.
