CGI Selects RapidformXO Verifier to Perform First Article Inspection Services
INUS Technology announced that CGI, a leading manufacturer of 3D scanners that capture the internal geometry of complex parts, has purchased rapidformXO Verifier (XOV) for its Inspection Services group. The company will use XOV's extensive point cloud inspection capabilities to perform design deviation analysis and GD&T on parts scanned using CGI's proprietary 3D digitizing systems. rapidformXO Verifier allows CGI to quickly verify a part's quality and deliver detailed, accurate and easy to read inspection reports to customers.
Customers from around the world rely on CGI to inspect complex, multi-cavity parts. By utilizing rapidformXO Verifier's innovative Systematic Inspection Processing concept, CGI can deliver accurate 3D deviation color maps and complete geometric dimension and tolerance measurements in minutes rather than hours. "rapidform XO Verifier is very easy to use and speeds up our inspection of multiple parts. After the first report is completed, we need only to import and register the additional scans and tell XOV to update the report," said Paul Raschke, engineer at CGI.
rapidformXO Verifier is the perfect software solution to process the dense, highly detailed data from CGI scanners and provides flexible, detailed reports that clearly indicate problem areas. Built on the rapidformXO platform, it can handle tens of millions of points quickly and easily. Craig Crump, CEO of CGI said: "We provide our customers with uniquely rich quality control data using our digitizers, and we chose rapidformXO Verifier to process that data because of its ease-of-use, speedy performance and high quality results."
