Altico Advisors Is a Proud Supporter of Autism Speaks



Altico Advisors - a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner headquartered in Massachusetts - announced today that all proceeds from the Year End Class conducted every December for Microsoft Dynamics GP clients have been donated this year to the Northeast regional office of Autism Speaks.



Once again, we found ourselves faced with the difficult task of choosing just one from among so very many worthy causes that we could support this year. Given that one in 150 children in the United States are diagnosed with autism, we realized that we all probably know someone in our circle of family and friends who is touched by this developmental disorder, says Rich Maloney, Altico Advisors's CEO. This act of annual giving is but one small way of supporting the communities we serve.



Autism Speaks was founded to bring a voice to those who may not have one. Autism is the nation'ss fastest-growing serious developmental disorder and it has reached epidemic proportions. Every 20 minutes, another child is diagnosed.



Our goal is to change the future for all those who struggle with autism spectrum disorders, explains Melody Horgan, Greater Boston Walk Director. We are dedicated to funding biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatment, and cures for autism; to raising public awareness; and to providing support for the individuals and families dealing with the hardships of this disorder.



Melody continues, Normally donations come in as a result of our fundraising efforts and events. We were enormously pleased by Altico Advisors's unsolicited contribution and show of support. This is a great start to the new year.
