Attenex Names Enterprise Software Veteran as New CEO

Attenex® Corp. (www.attenex.com), the leading developer of content analysis software for electronic discovery, today announced Kimra Hawley as the company's8217;s new chief executive officer. Hawley, a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of enterprise software experience, has held executive-level positions at Captiva Software, ActionPoint, Inc. and iUniverse, Inc.

Most recently, Hawley acted as the CEO of iUniverse, Inc., where she repositioned the company to better meet the needs of target constituents in the consumer book publishing industry. Prior to this, she was the Chairman of Captiva Software. Before Captiva, Hawley served as the President and CEO of ActionPoint, which merged with Captiva in 2002 to form the world's8217;s largest provider of enterprise document capture software. The combined company was acquired by EMC in 2005.



Hawley succeeds previous Attenex CEO, Brian Schlosser, who will continue with Attenex as an advisor to the board of directors.
