PixAlert Launches Channel Program to Resell PixAlert Enterprise Image...

April 30, 2005 -- PixAlert, the first software supplier to protect firms' PCs from inappropriate and illegal images originating from any source, today announced it has launched its channel program and signed its first reseller agreement with Netanium Network Security, Inc.

Under the agreement, Netanium will resell the PixAlert Enterprise software and risk assessment service as part of its security offerings that include instant message and content management for healthcare and other markets.

Netanium is a consulting and solutions provider for organizations of all sizes. It serves as a security advisor to assist clients with architecture and design, security and risk assessment, regulatory compliance, security policy and program development, product sourcing, implementation, ongoing maintenance, support, and training.

Illegal or inappropriate images on corporate PCs can expose directors, management and employees to criminal and civil claims. In fact, according to The Center for Internet Studies, more than 60 percent of companies have disciplined - and more than 30 percent have terminated - employees for inappropriate uses of the Internet.

The PixAlert Enterprise software suite uses patent-pending technology to deliver a powerful multi-source image detection and analysis solution that provides comprehensive protection against inappropriate and illegal images originating from network entry points and PC add-ons. Such sources may include gateways, media, USB ports, 3G cellular and WiFi hotspots.

"We are excited to launch this distribution agreement with Netanium," said Jack Mangan, vice president of sales and marketing for PixAlert. "Pairing our comprehensive offering with those from a respected security consulting and solutions provider offers our customers the best of both worlds-strategic security planning services and a world-class image detection system. We look forward to working with Netanium to provide a complete security offering to the market."

By implementing PixAlert Enterprise, organizations can better comply with corporate policies on inappropriate and illegal content. PixAlert helps manage employee computer use effectively, while simultaneously reducing security and legal risks, improving IT resource management, providing a protected working environment and enhancing employee productivity. PixAlert's unique screen assessment technology delivers non-intrusive content monitoring and the capability to unobtrusively audit suspect computers in the workplace.

"Our mission is to be the trusted security advisor to our clients," said Kevin Haley, CEO, Netanium. "PixAlert will enable us to protect our clients from civil and criminal lawsuits as well as security and productivity lapses."

The PixAlert Channel Program is designed for systems integrators, resellers and service providers serving businesses in a variety of industries that are concerned about costly and disruptive legal, compliance and ethical issues. The program offers qualified security and compliance focused partners the opportunity to enhance their revenue through resale or implementation of PixAlert Enterprise product and services.Any interested resellers should contact Jack Mangan at 978-692-9897.
