8211; Privacyware Chief Technology Officer Dr. Konstantin Malkov will present a research paper entitled 's8220;On Extreme Principles of Machine Learning in Anomaly and Vulnerability
Assessment's8221; at the 2006 World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing (WORLDCOMP's06) to be held June 26th-29th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Dr. Malkov's8217;s paper, co-written with Privacyware Enterprise Security Analytics Senior Researcher, Dr. Dmitry Tunitsky, addresses performance and accuracy limitations in the analysis
of high-volume, high-dimension data within anomaly detection and analysis systems. The paper describes an adaptive, machine-learning approach that ensures greater throughput (requires
less computational resources) and progressively improved accuracy in the detection of and derivation of knowledge about atypical activity among very large data sets in dynamic computing
(and other) environments. The machine learning approaches described enable the analytic capabilities of Privacyware's8217;s Adaptive Security Engine and its related Enterprise Security
Intelligence solutions.
The 2006 World Congress in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, and Applied Computing (WORLDCOMP's06) is the largest annual gathering of researchers in computer science, computer
engineering and applied computing. It assembles a spectrum of affiliated research conferences, workshops, and symposiums into a coordinated research meeting held in a common place at a
common time.
Based in Red Bank, New Jersey, Dr. Malkov is the co-founder of Privacyware, an innovative provider of multi-layered endpoint defense and enterprise security intelligence software. Dr.
Malkov is one of the world'ss foremost experts in non-linear mathematics and artificial intelligence. He is a former professor at Moscow State University and a founder of the Department
of Non-linear Dynamic Analysis and the I&C Laboratory.
Event Details:
Conference attendees may join Drs. Malkov and Tunitsky for a presentation and discussion of their research on Wednesday, June 28th, at 9:30 am in Meeting Room 2 of the Monte Carlo Hotel
and Casino Conference Center. Additional information regarding WORLDCOMP's06 is available on the web at: http://www.world-academy-of-science.org/worldcomp06/ws
