Two Manchester skaters take 1st 2nd place in major skating competition



Two of Manchester's best rollerbladers took 1st & 2nd place at a recent Major skating competition held at one of Europe's biggest skateparks, Rampworx in Liverpool.

Nick Lomax and Scott Hallows, both sponsored by Manchester's only rollerblading skateshop UKskate.com had to battle it out against each other for the 1st place position.

The Empire Battle Royale competition is an annual competition with the 1st Prize being an all expenses paid trip to the USA to compete in the world finals at the Famous Eisenbergs skatepark in Texas.

Five of UKskate.com's sponsored skaters found themselves battling each other in the final top ten places in the competition.
The format of the competition was a one on one battle to "one up" each others stunts & tricks on a number of the most advanced obstacles in the skatepark.

The competition was judged by World Famous Rollerblader Dominic Sagona, who's been at the top end of rollerblading competitions worldwide for nearlly ten years. More info and a 5 minute Video clip of this competion can be found on http://www.ukskate.com.
