A new junior girls kickboxing sensation on the rise



Here's the story.About a year ago, this 14 year old girl gets emergency surgery while working on her karate. Instead of quitting the sport, her, her dad, and the doctors agree and okay her to stick with it. She enters a point sparring competition and chooses to fight the boys instead of younger and lighter weight girls. She comes in 3rd!!!

She joins the kickboxing team at Z's Martial Arts Academy (847-669-7833 www.TeamZ's.com), wins the North Central Regional, defeating two different fighters 6 hours apart, then goes on to the International Kickboxing Federation Nationals (www.IKFkickboxing.com), this August 19th&20th, winning the Atom/light weight junior Championship!!!

In roughly 8 months, with lots of training, she is one of the fastest rising stars on the kickboxing scene. She also does cross country to stay in shape, and keep her endurance up. Her name is Kristin Andras, and you can reach her through Z's. Thanks for your time.
