England Sports Fansite Launches
English Sports Fansite, SuperEngland.com launches today.
The site, which features news and views across all sports, will create a community for England supporters to express their opinions.
This exciting development will cover every sport but has special sections relating to the World Cup 2006.
Danny Rosenbaum, the brains behind SuperEngland.Com, said:
"SuperEngland.Com will strive to incorporate what the web does best - firstly to provide information quickly, and secondly to be fun and a place to hang out and exchange views.
"Where we are different is that unlike some websites we aim to be totally reliable and not a soapbox for gossip."
Rosenbaum has a track record in fun and informative sites. He launched the succesful reference site Biogs.Com.
SuperEngland.Com aims to become the first port of call for England fans whatever their sport.
SuperEngland.Com is planning an extensive World Cup 2006 section and is already making plans to construct a major Olympics 2012 microsite.
Rosenbaum sees it as resource for England fans and journalists alike:
"I used to be a producer on Channel 4 News and I know all too well how valuable a quick and reliable resource like SuperEngland.com will be to journalists - but above all the web team and I are England fans and we are making sure the site is one that we would want to check out everyday ourselves."
The Biogs group of sites is planning further expansion but all additional interests are in keeping with their mission of being "informative and fun" and SuperEngland.com certainly fits into that category.
SuperEngland.com is free to visit. Registration is not essential but is free and provides greater access to documents, articles and news.
Across a range of sports, the site features player profiles and news as well as sections on trivia, quotes and opinion pieces by regular columnists.
Visitors are encouraged to take part on the forum and become part of the SuperEngland.com community.
