Ken Andronowitz, the volunteer Webmaster for SportsSignup customer South County Youth Lacrosse in Narragansett, RI, also volunteers his time with the Katie DeCubellis Memorial Foundation (KDMF) (http://www.kdmf.org/) established in memory of a 13-year-old student-athlete who was killed by a drunk driver. Mr. Andronowitz was so impressed by the ease and convenience of SportsSignup'ss online sports registration system for his lacrosse league that he asked if the system could be put to use for the annual KDMF 5K road race. SportsSignup jumped at the opportunity to help.



With more than 600 participants in the race, entries were becoming exceedingly difficult to manage in paper form, Mr. Andronowitz said. SportsSignup has allowed us to reduce the time we spend processing entries and spend our time where it'ss most important -- attracting more racers and donations, publicizing the dangers of drunk driving, and honoring Katie'ss memory.
