The Bay Area Sports Scene Has a New Set of Breakers

Well, four San Francisco Bay Area sports fanatics have put their money where their thoughts are, and founded BayBallBreakers.com as a Bay Area specific sports and entertainment commentary website and forum.



Those who can'st do, rant, explains Jim Hopkins, co-founder, contributor and webmaster of BayBallBreakers.com. We'sve always loved sports, and especially the Bay Area teams. We would always find ourselves watching games and making comments that were, a lot of times, better than the guys being paid to do it. So, naturally, they found a way to make their comments available to the masses.



BayBallBreakers.com combines inciteful sports and entertainment analysis with hometown bias and real-guy candor. And in case you can'st tell right away, they definitely choose sides. We all are dedicated fans of the Oakland A'ss, Golden State Warriors, and San Francisco 49ers, affirms Travis Capson, co-founder and contributor. They might mention the Raiders and Giants, but aren'st afraid to play favorites. We'sre not fairweather fans, adds Capson. All four contributors, Hopkins, Capson, Mike Kurtz, and Pete Kurtz, have held season tickets for one or more of the 3 favorite teams.



And while no cable network has taken the chance on putting real-guys in front of the camera to comment on or write about pro games, the BayBallBreakers have high hopes for their site. We hope to eventually get some exclusive content here and theremaybe a press pass or two, says Mike Kurtz. We'sre hoping to find all the like minded fans and create a big voice.
