Reclamation Announces Bid Opening for Klamath Project Lease Lands



t the Klamath Basin Area Office. A public bid opening will be held at the office at 10 a.m. the same day.


(Vocus) January 30, 2009 -- The Bureau of Reclamation (http://www.usbr.gov) announces that sealed bids for agricultural leasing of 29 parcels of Federal lease lands, totaling 4,270 acres, will be received until 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at the Klamath Basin Area Office. A public bid opening will be held at the office at 10 a.m. the same day.



Open for bid in Area K on the Lower Klamath Federal lease lands in Oregon are six grain lots and three grass hay/pasture lots. Open for bid on the Tule Lake Federal lease lands in California are Sump 2 - 11 lots, and Sump 3 - 9 lots.



Bidding instructions, lease information, a sample copy of the lease contract, location maps, and bid forms that must be used in submitting bids are available at the Klamath Basin Area Office, 6600 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, Oregon, and at the Tulelake Irrigation District, 2717 Havlina Road, Tulelake, California.
