Michael Finer CFP of Major League Investments Inc. and Finer Greenberg Co. CPAs Provides an Update of his Combat Tour in Iraq

Michael Finer, President of Major League Investments, Inc., has been deployed with the Massachusetts Army National Guard in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom since mid-2007. Lieutenant Colonel Michael Finer is currently serving with the 1st Battalion 181st Infantry (Forward) in Baghdad, Iraq. Lieutenant Colonel Finer currently serves as the Garrison Commander of Camp Cropper, Iraq in Western Baghdad where he is responsible for the overall logistical and base defense operations for Camp Cropper. While deployed, Lieutenant Colonel Finer has been featured on several television, news and radio programs to include "Greater Boston" with Emily Rooney, "Chronicle" with Mary Richardson and WRKO Radio with Moe Lauzier.

"I have had a very rewarding and remarkable tour so far," quoted Finer. "We have accomplished our mission to the best of our ability, and we have received tremendous support from the folks back home," he said. "We look forward to redeploying back to our families, businesses and friends in early 2008," said Finer.

Lieutenant Colonel Finer also indicated that he has gained a great deal of insight with respect to the economic and geopolitical situations in the Middle East while serving in Iraq, which gives him first hand knowledge regarding the impact of the war on the economy and its affect upon investment portfolio construction. "I also look forward to getting back to business in order to participate in the wealth management process and the many life cycle events of our many loyal clients," Finer also indicated.
