AccurateTrader.com is a subscription-based daily email service for active stock traders. The methodology is based on System-trading, which applies a software program algorithm to historical stock price data, and generates automated trade signals. Performance is documented.
AccurateTrader.com is the culmination of several years of tedious work with: indicators, functions, and stock charts. The goal was to create a group of trading systems, which could produce profitable trading histories for a diverse range of stocks. We believe we have accomplished this goal.
All stock price charts used for system-trading are screened for suitability before being considered for trading. Emphasis is placed on fundamental and technical characteristics, with specific attention to: annual earnings per share; quarterly earnings per share % increase over the same qtr. for the previous year; 50-day, 200-day, and 10 week moving averages of price data; number of outstanding shares; price performance compared to other stocks in leading sectors in the market; daily trade volume; institutional sponsorship, and more.
The systems have been designed to locate entry points that historically have shown a high proclivity for rapid price movement, either positive for a long position, or negative for a short position. This has the effect of greatly enhancing trading efficiency, which is measured by: comparing the lowest price achieved over the trading position to the entry price(for long positions); comparing the highest price achieved by the stock over the trading position to the exit price (for long positions). Short position efficiency is measured similarly.
As a result, the flat, non-profitable areas of stock price action are avoided in favor of the rapidly advancing stages, so profits can be achieved quickly. Exposure to the market is minimized. This is documented using the parameter: 'percent in market', the percent of the total days over which the trading system is applied that all positions were held. In some cases, this number can be very low, i.e., less than 20%, and the cumulative return can be almost as high as the 'buy and hold' return for the entire (100%) trade period. Sometimes the cumulative return exceeds the buy and hold return.
