This decision allowed MB Canada to change its processes and realize annual savings of up to $140,000. MB Canada can now remotely monitor precious cargo while its trailers are unattended and is able to provide the highest standard of food distribution to its many clients.
Christoph Kalinski, Managing Director of Ameriscan Inc. said "Martin Brower Canada provided an unusual challenge since the trailers are unattended during a ferry ride for a very long time in rough natural environments. But after some testing and adaptation of antennas and firmware we were able to provide MB Canada with a solution that fits their needs perfectly and realize dramatic annual cost savings."
Wayne Dingee DC Manager MB Canada was quite pleased with the outcome and performance of the system, "Not only has Ameriscan Inc. allowed Martin - Brower to assure our customers of an uninterrupted cold chain, it has put us in a position of being able to provide unmatched distribution and logistics services." "Ameriscan Inc. has met and surpassed a lot of our expectations in the search of a temperature recorder capable of several of our key requirements. The units have worked great, with no issues during the harsh winter conditions in Newfoundland, Canada."
