Propane Pdk equipment is one of the largest Cleaning Equipment Producers on the East Coast.



ENGINES:

All PDK Equipment is available with several engine choices; Onan Kawasaki, and Honda.



DECKS:

All PDK floor care machines come with a 3/8" thick aluminum deck to insure the least vibration and maximum engine heat dissipation. They are powder coated for exceptional durability and appearance. The standard color is "Black Wrinkle". Other colors and private label available with orders of 12 or more machines with a 2-3 week lead time. The 21" machine is offset for access under counters and overhangs.



HANDLE:

All handles are fabricated from 1/4" X 2" steel with heavy duty tank strap and adjustable "T" handle. Down swept handle grips for long term operator comfort. The handle for the 3000T is 3/4" tube steel and 1/8" steel plate with adjustable hand grip and heavy duty tank strap. Both handles are power coated with "Black Wrinkle".



BURNISHER DRIVE ASSEMBLIES:

The 21" and 24" burnishers feature notched V-Belts, cast pulleys and steel fabricated drive shaft with spin off plate for easy removal of pad driver for belt access. The belt is tensioned by a swing plate or idler arm with attached idler pulley, and is adjustable without turning over or even tilting the machine. The 27" burnisher features double groove cast pulleys with notched banded double V-Belt. Belts are easily tensioned by means of the threaded tension rod, and are easily accessible from the topside. (No need to turn the machine on its side and remove the pad driver to adjust the belt.) The 27" also features the steel fabricated drive shaft with spin off plate.



PAD DRIVER ASSEMBLY:

All pad drivers/brushes (except 3000T) are attached to a flexible coupler which allows 180 degrees of flex to accommodate uneven floors without burning or skipping. The 21", 24", and 27" models have heavy duty spun aluminum pad plates with Velcro discs and spin on pad centering devices. The 21" and 24" Strip machine comes with a grit impregnated super heavy duty strip brush. Again all driver spin off for ease of change or belt access.



STRIP MACHINE DRIVE ASSEMBLIES:

The 21" and 24" strip machine features a gear belt drive, (just like the timing belt in an    
automobile) to eliminate belt slippage in the wet stripping operation. (Gear belt driver are three times more durable than V-belts.) PDK is the only company that builds their machines with this durable belt system. The 3600 RPM engine PTO speed is double reduced to reach the optimal stripping range of 180-300 RPM by means of a second drive (jack) shaft. PTO speed is reduced 1/3 to 1200 RPM at the jack shaft; then 1/3 more at the drive shaft to 400 RPM. Throttle control achieves the 180 RPM at 1/2 throttle.



STRIP MACHINE EXTRAS:

The ultra molecular weight plastic brush shield reduces splashing and simply "floats" over uneven floors. Wide-body, non marking tires provide excellent traction on wet surfaces.



PROPANE TANK:

All machines listed come with a steel propane tank and its Underwriters Laboratory listed and D.O.T. approval.
