Marsh Supermarkets to Auction Surplus Property on November 15thAuction...

Higgenbotham Auctioneers International Ltd., Inc. ("HAI"), announced today that food retailer Marsh Supermarkets will offer 27 surplus properties at auction both in Indianapolis and worldwide via real-time Internet broadcast at 11am, Thursday, November 15th.

These properties will be offered simultaneously at auction in the Holiday Inn Select Grand Ballroom located adjacent to the Indianapolis Airport at 2501 S. High School Road Indianapolis, Indiana and via real-time online bidding at http://www.naalive.com/catalog.aspxasid=5216

At least 7 properties are to be sold ABSOLUTE to the last and highest bidder. "No minimum opening bid amounts have been set for the remaining properties, auction bidders may open bidding at any amount they see fit," commented Haney.

HAI clarified that no currently open locations are included in this auction process.

The auction inventory consists of 15 retail outparcels/development tracts and 12 retail buildings. Properties included in the auction are all closed store locations, outlots and parcels.

Parties interested in bidding online should contact HAI immediately to receive property, auction and due diligence information.

Internet bidders are required to pre-register and supply a deposit in order to qualify for this convenient service. Online registration for the auction can be made by calling HAI at (800) 257 4161 at least 72 hours in advance of the auction.
