The R A C would hold hemaclips, kitners and surgical ties. Designed for easy gas-sterilization, the device may be offered in peel-open packs or custom surgical packs.
The inventor's experiences as a surgical technologist prompted him to design the R A C. "As we scrub for long surgical procedures, our work area becomes very disorganized," he said. "That started me thinking of ways to keep it neat and tidy."
