Dupuytren'ss disease is a progressive condition causing the fibrous tissue of the palmar fascia to shorten and thicken and may eventually result in a nodule that can cause fingers to contracture, severely impacting day-to-day activity. The new percutaneous needle aponeurotomy offers new hope to patients reluctant to seek conventional surgical intervention.



A member of the Center for Performing Arts Medicine (CPAM) and part of the Methodist orthopedic team serving as the official healthcare provider of the Houston Texans and Dynamo, Collins focuses his research on the bones and joints of the hand, wrist and elbow - pioneering new trends and preserving careers.
