Raleigh Day Spa and Laser Center Named a Best Place to Work

Triangle Business Journal has named Blue Water Spa and Michael Law MD Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Center one of the top companies to work for in the Triangle, in its annual Best Places to Work Awards program. The award recognizes the company's8217;s achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of benefits, working conditions and company culture.



The Raleigh based Plastic Surgery Center and Medical Spa, Blue Water Spa was one of 125 companies to enter, and made the list based on the strength of its employee evaluations.

Kile Law, president of Blue Water Spa was presented with a 2005 Best Places to Work Award at a ceremony on September 15, 2005. Triangle Business Journal recognized the top ten companies in each of three size categories, small, medium and large. All 30 winning companies are profiled in an in-depth special section in Triangle Business Journal's8217;s September 16th edition.



Kile Law, president of Blue Water Spa has been appointed to the 2005 National Day Spa Association advisory board. She is the winner of the 2004 ABBIES award, one of the aesthetic industries highest honors. Kile is regularly interviewed by both consumer and trade publications. She has appeared on entertainment television programs and newscasts. She is an in-demand speaker at medical and spa conferences. Articles written by Kile regularly appear in spa publications. She has provided training to medical professionals on laser hair removal and other aesthetic medical technologies since 1995.



Blue Water Spa has been featured extensively in national and local media, including the cover of the Medical Spa Report and a cover article of Plastic Surgery News, the official news journal of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Since opening in 2003, Blue Water Spa has been recognized with many 's8220;best of's8221; awards. Blue Water Spa is offering consulting services to individuals interested in opening a medical spa, and is developing a series of training DVD's8217;s and manuals for medical and aesthetic professionals.



Dr. Michael Law is a board certified plastic surgeon. He grew up in Raleigh. After 10 years of formal surgical training, he practiced aesthetic surgery in Beverly Hills. He made the difficult decision to return home to Raleigh and raise a family. Dr. Law is chosen by people nationwide seeking a natural-looking result from plastic surgery. Since opening his NC practice in 2003, he has been recognized with numerous 's8220;best-of's8221; awards. He performs all surgeries in a hospital O.R. and provides a complimentary overnight stay in the hospital to enhance patient comfort and provide peace of mind to patients and their loved ones. Dr. Law and his wife, Kile have two young sons, both born in Raleigh.
