February's TSOT Ruby on Rails Project Night will feature several presentations, offering a variety of information and insight into working with Ruby on Rails. TSOT's own Joey deVilla will kick off the evening as the resident MC, followed by introductory presenter Rowan Hick who will discuss "How to avoid hanging yourself in Rails" (or optimising your ActiveRecord associations). Feature presenters for the evening include Mike Bowler and Steve Vetzal, who will explore EasyBrandingTools.com; and Luke Galea on the CRMS (Clinical Research Management System) from Medical Decision Logic, an application used to manage drug and procedure trials at the some of the biggest hospitals in the US. In response to the level of interest in technical content as well as the popularity of the Q&A sessions, February's event will delve further into programming and development behind the applications, with lots of time allotted for audience inquiry.
