SlashID Changes How Users Access Websites with New Identity System

SlashID Corporation (www.slashid.com) system can handle eCommerce transactions that control access to more valuable content like financial records. Alternative identity systems like OpenID are generally limited to lower value and less security sensitive content like blog posts and social media content. The SlashID identity management system has the ability to handle both low and high security identity requirements.

The SlashID identity management system is a web application, written completely in Javascript and using the Google Web Toolkit (GWT). As a result, SlashID does not require any downloadable software, plug-ins or browser extensions and no information is ever stored on the user's computer.

The SlashID service is currently in beta testing but is generally available to both users and web sites. Registrations are currently being accepted at www.slashid.com.
