Telligent Announces New Vice President of Operations

Telligent, a leader in community and collaboration software (http://telligent.com/), announced today the appointment of Richard Zicchino as the vice president of operations. Zicchino will report directly to Telligent CEO Patrick Brandt.

In his new position on the senior management team, Zicchino will lead the company'ss support, professional services, hosting and information technology teams.

Richard is an exceptional asset to our team, Brandt said. His extensive knowledge will ensure that Telligent continues to build on our ongoing commitment to providing first-class service and support.

Prior to joining Telligent, Zicchino was a release management director at Oracle Corporation, after leading technical due diligence during acquisition of Skywire Software in 2008. Previously, Zicchino served as general manager of iWave Integrator (now iWave Software), a division of Skywire Software, where he led the product development, support, and professional services teams. Additional assignments at Skywire Software included directing support, development, services and hosting for a variety of software products. Before joining Skywire Software in 2003, Zicchino worked with Attenza and Fujitsu Network Communications.
