7 Digital Announces Video Support Across All Its Download Services

7 Digital today announces across the board support for video on more than 120 download services that it provides for EMI, Universal, Sony BMG, Warner, ITV, Channel 5 and MTV.



Today consumers can download video from the official Coldplay (www.7digital.com/coldplay), Gorillaz (www.7digital.com/gorillaz) and Feeder (www.7digital.com/feeder) stores, full length episodes of Dirty Sanchez from MTV (www.7digital.com/dirtysanchez) and automotive features from Fifth Gear (www.7digital.com/fifthgear).



7 Digital allows media owners to have their own branded download stores featuring audio and video downloads. Unique features of the service include high-quality video downloads at between 750kbps 8211; 1.2Mbps - much higher quality than other download services - together with 30 second previews streamed at high quality to modem and broadband connections. Users can buy any video using a mobile, and 7 Digital stores offer media owners a high degree of editorial control and access to a real-time reporting system to track sales.



Unlike most other download services, 7 Digital supports multiple download formats allowing the consumer choice of WMV (Windows Media Video), H.264 MPEG-4 and DIVX with compatibility with PC, Mac, Linux and of course, the new Video iPod.



All audio and video sales are reported daily to the Official UK Charts Company and 7 Digital handles all license payments.
