The folks behind OrlandoVisiting.com (http://www.orlandovisiting.com) want to help future travelers to places like Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld, learn more about the area before they arrive. Today the site has opened it doors to anyone seeking assistance and they're doing it all for free.

Every year millions of people travel from all over the world to visit Orlando's famous attractions, and every year Orlando locals find themselves as the unofficial travel guides. More often than not, vacationers to the area fail to do a little reconnaissance before they leave. This leaves hundreds of people trying to force seven days worth of activities into one.

"With a little simple planning, vacationers can see all of the sights without feeling like they just ran a marathon," said spokesman Ian Walsh. "OrlandoVisiting.com has more than 175 members and they are all ready and willing to help newcomers to the area with any questions they may have. Some of our members have even posted detailed day guides for Disney World and other theme parks."

OrlandoVisiting.com launched last year as an online forum (http://www.orlandovisiting.com/forums), specializing in the discussion of Orlando's more known attractions, but also providing members with a place to post trip reports. Everything from what restaurant to eat at, to which hotel offers the best price and location, is documented on the site.

"We've successfully merged aspects of all the other popular travel sites online, into one place," said Walsh. "What differentiates us from the others is our dedication to all things Orlando. If someone's planning a trip to the area, there's no better place to find answers to their questions, period."
