GuideZilla was launched earlier this year to enable non-profits, individuals, businesses and civic organizations more efficiently publicize their events.
The community events site enables groups, venues and individuals to post events at no charge. Events are listed by category, and can be sent by the posting party directly from the site to
interested friends or business associates.
The developers of GuideZilla will be hosting a free "how to" seminar at 5:30pm on May 3rd, 2006 at the Blackstone Library in Branford. The event is free and open to anyone who would like
to learn how to more efficiently promote their event using the free tools on GuideZilla.com. Refreshments will be served. Those wishing to attend this free event should register at
guidezilla.
GuideZilla.com will be teaming up with other media outlets, such as newspapers and television stations and, non-profit groups to help populate their websites with events from their
area.
GuideZilla will help groups keep in contact with those who wish to attend events. The site will enable users to send out notices of schedule changes and new events.
"Non profits need constant contact with their members. Guidezilla allows them to instantly make them aware of important events," said Andrew Kaplan, member of Guide Event Management,
LLC.
