This year we are seeking to raise an ambitious $10,000 US dollars to help us migrate to the new and improved Nutch mapred (http://www.nutch.org) platform and purchase the hardware and bandwidth necessary to reach our 1 billion page index.



What is Mozdex.com



Mozdex.com is a project based off Open Source search software with a vision to build a whole-internet index that offers an insight into the process that sorts and orders the results you see. Many commercial search engines use proprietary methodology and algorithms to sort search results; http://www.mozdex.com allows you to view the process and calculations that rank the results you see.
