Galaxy Technologies Inc. Releases The 9th Generation of its Flagship Time Attendance Solution at Sage Insights 2008

Galaxy Technologies, Inc. (www.galaxy-inc.com) announces the release of TimeStar Enterprise Version 4.01, the ninth generation product release, since initially introducing the flagship solution in 2002. Galaxy consultants will be on-hand to demonstrate TimeStar Enterprise v.4.01 during Sage Insights 2008 at booth 700. TimeStar Enterprise v.4.01 boasts a more powerful and flexible reporting engine including personalized, role-specific TimeStar reports delivered conveniently and all in real-time.

"The TimeStar reporting engine was built from day one on the principle of making each stock Crystal Report as dynamic and flexible as possible," stated Galaxy Product Manager Matt Petersen. "However, this power and flexibility has come at a cost of some intrinsic complexity in generating reports. In response to this, we analyzed extensive client feedback from the field and are very excited to announce the release of an entirely re-engineered reporting interface."

With TimeStar Enterprise v.4.01, the reporting engine is based on an integrated personalization system, each user can simply and quickly define unlimited 'templates' of how he or she wants to extract, analyze and report on TimeStar's vast labor data. Report templates may be centrally published to unique role groups such as executives, payroll managers or supervisors, as well as created and saved 'on the fly' by individual users. Thus further allowing users to gain deep insight into their workforce.

In addition to the new reports personalization system, v.4.01 includes continued system-wide refinements in usability, enhanced security and performance improvements. TimeStar Enterprise v.4.01 has passed Galaxy's exhaustive QA and Beta cycle and will be made available for public release at no extra cost to all current TimeStar Enterprise clients.
