Lock Down Your Computer While Youre Away

Fresh Software announces Sentry 2.5

Fresh Software has released Sentry 2.5, a major upgrade to its lock-down program first launched in 1999. Version 2.5 introduces full security support for Windows 2000 and Windows XP, as well as maintaining backwards compatibility with Windows 95, Windows 98, and Windows ME. Also new in this version is Sentry2Go, a feature that lets you take the program with you on removable media (such as a USB flash drive) and lock down any public computer you may use.

Sentry 2.5 is a stepping-stone to the upcoming Sentry 3 software, the next generation of the program in development. Sentry 3 will have a 100% customizable interface and offer new security abilities. Currently Fresh Software is running a promotion offering a free Sentry 3 upgrade to anyone who buys version 2.5, which has been priced at $5.95 to allow it to reach a broad audience.

As with all its programs, Fresh Software welcomes any feedback about the Sentry software and will put all comments received into consideration for future versions.

Fresh Software was founded in 1998 by Andrew Niese, an independent shareware author and now an undergraduate at UW Eau Claire. For more information, visit Fresh Software on the web at http://www.freshsw.com/
