Connect to GroupWise on Virtually Any Java Cell Phone

Omni Technology Solutions is pleased to announce the world-wide availability of Omni Syncaphone, mobile software for Novell GroupWise that runs on the vast majority of over 579 million Java cell phones. With Syncaphone, users have online access to their GroupWise mailbox, calendars, address books, tasks and notes from a standard Java cell phone.

Omni Syncaphone installs on the GroupWise WebAccess server. As a result, organizations do not need to invest in any additional hardware, software, gateway servers, or training to mobilise their GroupWise users. This significantly reduces deployment costs and ensures that wireless connectivity is as secure and reliable as the GroupWise system itself. In addition, a "poison pill" enables administrators to keep their corporate data safe by remotely forcing the removal of the application and GroupWise data from the device if it is lost or stolen.
