Cormant Technologies Announces the Global Release of CableSolve R5.2

CableSolve 5.2 adds significantly more business functionality to the very successful CableSolve R5 Release.CableSolve R5.2 includes a completely new Custom Reporting system on the CableSolve Desktop. Custom Reporting in R5.2 is very flexible, giving users the ability to sift through the vast CableSolve Database and create precise customised reports with the use of multiple filter, sort and grouping functions. The reporting provides charting options to show graphical representations of CableSolve data. Users can create unlimited custom reports such as asset reports; communications equipment capacity reports, channel utilisation reports, connections reports and many more. All reports can be saved or exported in multiple formats for further analysis.



CableSolve R5.2 Templates have been completely revised and updated adding over 50 new templates. The templates have been reorganised for easier and faster access when creating components. Existing users can take advantage of the new templates through a new templates import function. With templates imports, not only can an existing CableSolve installation be upgraded to the latest templates, new templates can be imported into CableSolve as they are created by Cormant or CableSolve Partners.



CableSolve R5.2 offers support for Citrix's8482; and other terminal services allowing simple deployment particularly in multi site installations. With terminal services support, CableSolve makes its use in managed service installations simpler than ever.



On the CableSolve Handheld, Audit Equipment now includes an "Auto Advance" checkbox for a quicker and more user-friendly auditing process. Reports relating to ports, channels and capacity can be viewed on the portable reports screen in the familiar tree view format making powerful management of the infrastructure possible from anywhere.
