Lombardi Experts Present At Google I O Conference in San Francisco



Lombardi, a leader in business process management (BPM) (http://www.lombardi.com/), today announced that two members of its product development team were selected to share their expertise and findings with Google Web Toolkit (http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/overview.html) (GWT) and Java at the upcoming Google I/O web application developer conference. The two-day event will be held on May 28 - 29, 2008 at the Moscone West in San Francisco, CA.





"Building a rich Web-based end user experience is core to our strategy for Blueprint, our 'on-demand' process documentation tool, and Google Web Toolkit has proved to be an invaluable tool to help us realize this strategy," said Matt Howitt, vice president of product engineering at Lombardi. "We're pleased that our developers are receiving recognition for the innovative work that they do with GWT every day."



The conference session is entitled "Using GWT to Build a High Performance Collaborative Diagramming Tool," and will be co- presented by Alex Moffat, Engineering Manager, and Damon Lundin, Lead Software Engineer for Lombardi Blueprint. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28 at 3:00 p.m. PDT. During the session, attendees will learn about utilizing GWT to provide a highly responsive experience, how to synchronize multiple client object models with the server, and other best practices for using GWT as a development platform.



Google I/O is a developer gathering focused on pushing the boundaries of web applications using Google and open web technologies. Google engineers and web development leaders such as Lombardi will lead attendees through two days full of in-depth breakout sessions on the latest technologies, hands-on Code Labs, and informal Q&A at Fireside Chats.
